Danny Godinez (9 p.m.)

Danny Godinez is a genre-bending, multifaceted guitarist who combines astonishing facility with deeply soulful feeling. Best known in Seattle as a member of Michael Shrieve’s crackshot band Spellbinder, Danny’s solo performances range from intricate fingerstyle guitar to experimental soundscapes. He has toured throughout the U.S. and Europe and has opened for or shared the stage with artists as diverse as Robben Ford, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Herbie Hancock, ZZ Top, and Pura Fe, among many others.

Heaney-Henneman-Rea Guitar Threesome (10 p.m.)

This longstanding trio of leading Seattle creative guitarists welcomes to its fold one-of-a-kind axeman Simon Henneman, who steps into the shoes of the departed Stephen Parris. In their first performance together, the renascent Threesome will brew up a head-spinning panoply of incandescent sounds.

Michael Owcharuk’s PLY (11 p.m.)

PLY is Michael Owcharuk (keys), Beth Fleenor (clarinet), Paul Kemmish (bass), and Max Wood (drums). PLY plays compositions by Michael Owcharuk, drawn from his 2011-12 Tune a Day project. The music is influenced by rock, new music, classical, jazz, and pop, with a healthy dose of improvisation. PLY has two formats, acoustic and electric; for their Zero-G concert, they are plugging in to in bring their brand of sonic mayhem and good times.
