Kate Olson (8 p.m.)
Kate Olson creates cinematic soundscapes with a sense of humor by using the program MainStage as a foil for her soprano saxophone playing. Often incorporating external stimuli such as film and text into her performance, she attempts to improvise problems and their solutions in distinct, challenging vignettes.

Headless Quartet
[Eric Barber sax, Bob Rees vibes, John Seman bass, Tom Zgonc drums] (9 p.m.)
First convened by Barber at one of the weekly Monktail Tuesday night sessions, Seman now brings these padres of the Seattle free improv music community, joined by vanguard vibraphonist Rees, to the Zero-G stage for a powerhouse session of action and ecstasy.
